Chocolate
Aahh chocolate. I’m sure it’s time for chocolate somewhere in the world right about now…
Recently we were asked to try some chocolate from The Chocolate Yogi. I was really excited to try it, as it’s refined sugar free! It’s also vegan, raw, organic, dairy free, soy free, gluten free and ethical!
The chocolate arrived individually packaged with this super cute picture of Oscar the Orangutan. The Oscar chocolate bars come in three yummy flavours, and we tried all three. They are: Chocolate Mylk, Mylk Caramel and Whyte Chocolate.
The chocolate is tasty and creamy and I love that it’s refined sugar free! It’s the perfect snack size and both kids really enjoyed trying it!
I ended up melting down all three flavours and making chocolate dipped strawberries because Kimi and Ilina both LOVE strawberries. And they were a hit, they didn’t last long!
What I also love about this chocolate is that 5c from every bar sold goes towards The Orangutan Project. The Orangutan Project is a not-for-profit organisation that is involved in Orangutan conservation, mainly in Borneo and Sumatra. For more information and/or to donate towards this wonderful initiative, head to http://www.orangutan.org
Ed and Malindi are the New South Wales duo that created The Chocolate Yogi and you can read all about their story, including the inspiration behind their chocolate and how they started, here. Their aim is to make chocolate that changes the world and I loved reading their story.
On their website you can also read all about HOW they make their chocolate and the ingredients they use. I love that it’s all natural!
For only $1.80 per bar, or $75 for a box of 50, you can’t go wrong! Happy shopping.
This is so amazing that you can have fabulous chocolate with such high quality and that you can also contribute towards a cause. The orangutan project is so worthwhile and I’m amazed also how affordable The Chocolate Yogi is.
Thank you Jen, yes I love when companies conduct themselves ethically and try and help others ☺️

Jen my darling… that sounds simply amazing… especially for me as a chocolate junkie. I love when companies are ethical and that is the right way to be. Stunning pictures by the way

xoxo, Dom
It is so hard nowadays to find dairy free chocolate that actually tastes good and I tend to trust kids’ judgment more than I trust adults when it comes to food. If your daughter says it’s good, I have to try them!
This chocolate is awesome on so many levels – ita vegan, its refined sugar free and it helps wildlife! Thanks for sharing this with us! X
